In the state, under the ever increasing cases of corona infection, graduates will enter their first year by September 15 and classes will start from October 1. Classes will be held from November 1 in the first year of post-graduation. The university will create e-content from July 13 to August 3. Faculty and staff will be called if required. From 13 July to 3 August, teachers will contact family members through various means of communication. Special Secretary Manoj Kumar has issued the above instructions to the Director Higher Education and the Registrar while issuing a new academic calendar. At the same time, class possibilities in universities and colleges have ended in July.

How e-content will be ready:
As per the orders, the HOD, Dean and Vice Chancellor will reach the campus from July 13, i.e. today and prepare e-content. Will encourage work from home. E-content of all faculty and subjects will have to be prepared by 31 July. Chancellors, deans, HODs and employees can be called to the university and the college if needed. They will be provided with work related to e-lecture recording, admission process and evaluation and results. The e-content has to be uploaded on the web portal.

Admission Process:
Admissions will have to be completed by 15 September in the first year of graduation and 31 October in the first year of graduation. The admission process will be completely online.

Second and final year class will start from August 4
UG-PG online classes will start from August 4, except for the first year undergraduate and postgraduate. Classroom Teaching will start from October 1 if the situation becomes normal. The teaching work of first year undergraduate students will be from October 1.

45 days online teaching mandatory:
45 days online teaching will be compulsory in the new semester in universities and colleges. After this, students will be called in groups in online as well as classes. First-year students will attend college for a week. Second week second year students will be called. There will be live telecast of the class from the smart classroom. Contact classes will begin with distance and precaution in October-November. Practicals will also be conducted in virtual labs.

Continuous evaluation of students is mandatory:
There will be continuous evaluation of students. This will include mid term exam, national exam, tutorial, assignment and project. Mid term examination will be compulsory in all courses. The department will evaluate all these and send marks to the university. The above marks will be 50 percent of the total marks of the semester or annual examination. Out of these, results of 25-50 per cent marks should be added by adding the related question paper to the annual-semester examination. If there is no examination for any reason, then students will be promoted with these marks.

This is the academic calendar
Online class of everyone except the first year from August four.
September 15 is the last date for admission in the first year, classes from October 1.

Mid term or back paper examinations from December 5-20.
Postgraduate first year odd semester examinations from 15 March 2021.
Annual examinations in postgraduate first year from May 1 to June 15, 2021.
– Mid term exams for even semester till 30 April 2021.
– PG first year even semester examinations till 30 June 2021.
Result of annual examinations till 15 June 2021.
