The entrance test will be conducted in the second or third week of July for enrollment in government and private polytechnic institutions of Jharkhand. The online form of entrance examination will be filled from June 8. The last date for application is July 2.

Jharkhand Joint Entrance Competition Examination Board has issued notification for various entrance examinations. The online admit card for the polytechnic entrance exam can be downloaded four days before the exam. Manoj Kumar Singh, an expert on polytechnic entrance exams, says that it is necessary to pass 10th or equivalent board examination with at least 35 per cent number for enrollment in polytechnic. The minimum age for mining is 17 years. There is no minimum age limit for other branches. Students appearing for matriculation examination in the year 2020 can also apply. There is no fixed fee for general, EWS, 650 rupees for backward castes and 325 rupees for others and for disabled people.

Application for ITI to Diploma from 12
The online application for ITI to Diploma Lateral Entry will start from June 12. July 3 is the deadline for applications. The exam will be held in the third week of July. Detailed information can be obtained on the website of Jharkhand Joint Entrance Competition Examination Board. Candidates can apply by visiting jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in.

Apply online for lateral engineering
The online form will also be filled for the Diploma to Engineering Lateral Entry Entrance Examination from June 12. The entrance test is expected in the third week of July. Entry test form can be filled by July 3. The application fee is fixed at Rs 900 and Rs 450.
